Fantasy/Science Fiction Writer Mary Robinette Kowal wrote a secular novel (not CBA) called Glamour in Glass, set in 1815.  (It will be released in April, 2012)  As part of her research, she created a dictionary from the complete works of Jane Austen. On her blog, she shares a list of words that she had to cut because they weren’t used in 1815, or were used in a different way entirely.
